Since the January 2004 announcements from the Scottish Executive, WIRCC have made incredible achievements: |

Identified suitable premises that are now in the process of being developed into a support centre and office base. |

Created 2 full-time and 1 part-time posts - Training & Education Worker, Coordinator and p/t administrator. |

| * | Developed a training programme for unpaid workers. Three local women have completed this programme enabling WIRCC to offer a service to women who require support by fully training volunteers. | ||

Working towards forging links with other local and relevant agencies/organisations. |

Continue to provide face-to-face, helpline and accompanyment support services. |

| * | Recruitment and training of additional volunteers will be ongoing at various times throughout the year. | ||

Widening our horizons to reach from the Butt to Barra - supporting women throughout the Western Isles. |
